For the past few months I’ve been experimenting with two
new (to me) social media sites – Tumblr and Pinterest.
Pinterest is basically an online corkboard – a site in
which you would take images that you like and pin them up to the board for
inspiration. But this is all online – you take user photos that you like and
pin them to your own personal boards.
As I mentioned, Tumblr is another site to blog from, but
it’s way more visual and way less wordy than other forms of blogging.
Both are very appealing to me because I’m a super visual
person.
Posting to both of these sites is quick. During breakfast
or lunch, I’ll just search something that I’m thinking about and pin it or post
to Tumblr.
The list goes on. I then cut them into little pieces.
When I feel like blogging, I’ll pick out the name of one of these things out of a jar and that’s the magic word of the day.
So things I post to my Tumblr and Pinterst accounts will revolve around the magic word. If I do a search and don’t find something, well then I won’t post!
So let’s start making magic. Today’s word is:
Oh some other things to note: I’ll only use one word for
this year, I most likely won’t post daily and while some words are seasonal
(i.e. Christmas) I may pull them at different times of the year (i.e. summer).
